Why We Are Bad Girls

The Bad Girl Who Started It All

In the many years since Sally took her first walk as a survivor, we Bad Girls (and Boys) have come a long way. In 2012 we became an independent 501(c)3 organization so that our reach could extend beyond breast cancer.

While several of us still participate in the Race for the Cure, the Susan G. Komen 3-Day and many others, now we work in our own community to help women suffering from all cancers. We partner with other local agencies to provide meals, comfort, education and outreach to those in need. We raise money through our events and the generosity of our donors to start new programs, such as a series of healing gardens in cancer treatment centers in our state.

We remain an all volunteer organization, so 90% of all proceeds go to support our mission. But we still need your help. Cancer kills more than 1 in 5 women.  We are fighting for them every step of the way!

We would love to meet you at an event or a walk, and we are always looking for more Bad Girls and Boys to join the fight! If you are interested in hearing more, please click here: http://www.badgirlsdogoodthings.org/contact-us/
